Giving back

Our church is involved this week in one of the best things that I think that we do. It's called Impact Week. Hundreds of people donate thousands of hours doing community service projects all week long. The projects range from making cards and gifts for people in nursing homes to moving furntiure and books into schools to building mission churches to making blankets for Project Linus, my other favorite community service project.

Aaron helped us today with the Project Linus project, and here he is practicing the emroidery that Kathy, a very sweet Project Linus friend of mine, taught him to do.

I don't think it's ever too early to teach the boys the joy of giving back to others.
