Because I clearly don't have enough crafts to keep me busy

I had to pick up a new one to do.


And then my mother-in-law taught us a new one also today.


My brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their children are in town this week from Houston, staying with my mother-in-law and father-in-law, but they came and spent the afternoon with us today to give my father-in-law the chance to clean house. To keep them busy, we decided to do some crafts. The first picture shows the cinnamon ornaments that we made. Boy does my kitchen smell good. Please try to disregard the decapitated cowboy. A little user error.

And the second picture shows the plates that we made. Are they cute or what? They started out as clear glass plates, and ended up like this. Want to guess how we made them?
