That's my boy

About a week and a half ago, the Cub Scouts took a field trip to a local police department, led by the Police Sergeant Father of one of the Scouts. Siblings were welcome to come along, so we made it a family trip.

Which Clayton was all about.

Because he was going to get to see "jail." You see, Clayton talks a lot about jail. And bad guys. And I, in my optimistic way, think it's just that he wants to follow in Daddy's footsteps and become law enforcement.

I will take a moment here to allow you all to get the hysterical laughter out of your system.

Anyhoo.

Last night we are watching an episode of iCarly or something like that, and something is mentioned about someone being arrested. So the following conversation ensues.

Me: Clayton, have you ever been arrested?

Clayton: No,
I'm too young.

Me: What would you do if you were
arrested?

Clayton: (without pause, mind you) Break
out.

Mike: There's your future.
