That would be one of Aaron's spelling words this week.
Seriously.
The entire list looks like this:

They do things a little different at Aaron's school with spelling, which started last year in second grade. Each child has their own personalized spelling list to study and then test on. They have one or two high frequency words each week that each child has on their list as well as a "theme" each week, this week obviously being words that end in "ies" The teacher has a large list of words, of varying difficulty, and each child picks words off the list that will be challenging for their particular level, but still possible for them to learn to spell. The issue for Aaron, which began last year, is that he already knew how to spell all the words on the list each week. So he started having to look words up in the dictionary. This year, he's taken to google searches. And yesterday, it was on to the medical dictionary. Hence angiocardiographies. Which, by the way, he already actually knows how to spell. Along with all the rest of the words on the list.
Yes, as a matter of fact, he does want to try out for UIL spelling.
