Aaron has been practicing those lines, and others, at home and at practice at school twice a week for greater than two months now, along with the rest of the songs performed by he and the other 31 actors performing in his school's presentation of Schoolhouse Rock.
They've been practicing a lot. And so I expected that the show would be good. But it far exceeded my expectations.
They rocked the Schoolhouse Rock, people.
These were all third and fourth graders with little to no previous experience. And they all absolutely shined. They were all confident and animated and polished, and they performed the show without a hitch.
I was very proud of each and every one of them.
But mostly this guy.
