Well, thankfully it seems we escaped the wrath of Rita

Other than losing power for almost 24 hours, and some relatively high winds, we ended up with no problems, and unfortunately no rain. The temperature is back up near 100 degrees. We are supposed to get a cool front at the end of the week, so hopefully that will help. My BIL and SIL from Houston also apparently made it through without damage. They are on their way back home today, so hopefully they will get there in decent time.
